Its been a while but I gather most of you have heard from me directly via email. Anyhow, been busy as usual. This time just my day job plus I have this new habit of ‘taking time off’ during weekends.

Internet marketing is fun but when sales are slow it aint fun! For one reason or another my clickbank sales have taken a plunge and I still can’t figure out why. Its really frustrating to see $0.00 on my ClickBank home page. I now check this twice a day – guess am scared to face the truth! Well, that’s what this “making money online” business is all about. One minute you are making $400 a day and the other you are making $0.00 for three straight days.

Ohh…you must be wondering and saying Dennis is ‘stressed’ – you are dead right I am and to be perfectly honest I am putting it out here because I want to show you guys that this ain’t as easy as people make it seem. making money online is really like any other job. You have to put in the hours if you are to get anything out of it and sometimes you willl go through ‘dry spells’ that will test your resolve.

I have been on forums like WF and am shocked by what people claim to be making. they dont have any proof but others seem to believe every word. Am not sure about you but I am very cautious and only listen to others that are rather open with their online adventures. People like Clyton, Justin, Michelle keep me going because they openly share their experiences online.

Meaanwhile I thought something weird was going on via clickbank recently and it probably explains a general dip in sales for me and many affiliates I follow. See screenshots below:

If you pay close attention to the above image you will notice that there are “0″ hops. Now take a look at the items screen below.

From the above image it clearly shows three hops but the total count in the previous image was “0″…..I hope you get what am saying. Well, if we are to trust clickbank, they need to improve their tracking otherwise affiliates like me seem to be loosing money unfairly. It annoys me that all affiliates would have a sudden bump in sales within a week. Across the board I noticed everyone was “crying” but on closer attention to my clickbank stats I just realised the system has some problems otherwise we would still see the “spikes” in our click bank pages.  This isn’t an attack on ClickBank but am simply saying the system can’t be trusted 100%

Otherthan that nothing new to talk about. My attempt to go after media buys didn’t really work out well. The company I wanted to advertise with turned out to have extremely high rates and unfortunately I couldn’t justify spending that much on a market that doesn’t convert well. I have only made one sale to a person in New Zealand and honestly the sums just don’t add up.

As for the partnership am into, well, we are still doing the ground work. Got a few videos made up for training our new writer who happens to come from Uganda.  We are also looking for other writers from freelancer and that should help us produce as much content as we would like. We are working one website at a time so that will keep us pretty busy for the next couple of months. I think over time this project will result into a significant amount of sales given all the newsletter series that we shall run. I am super excited about this!

Last week I offered the backlink script and well, I got about 30 signups – not bad way to start building my list. And yes, my list wont have to worry about spam emails as they will only be getting weekly insights on what I am doing. It might sound weird to many of you who have followed me for the last 28 weeks but am thinking of taking my clickbank screenshots off my weekly reports. If I do, this will only be reserved to the list. Am not sure about this but would like to hear your opinions.

Meanwhile I must admit I was unable to follow through on my promise to post regularly on this blog. It will definately happen sometime in the near future.

Scrapebox seems to be working fine. I have gotten over 200 links from it for thi website alone and am thinking of trying it on my money sites but others have warned me to only use it on my link wheel sites like blogger, squdoo, hub pages because it could hurt my sites as they might get sandboxed.

On a postive note I also received a check from ClickBank – my 8th to be precise.

Otherwise, there isn’t much to add aexcept that I probaly need to diversity and stop relying too much on ClickBank. I know this now and I hope I can work towards diversification.

This post is getting way too long.  I guess this is when I have to reveal my “dry spell”…..

Many thanks to all those who contacted me in response to my call out. If you haven’t received a reply hang in there.

I will get in touch soon. I now realise this blog is starting to gain momentum and I am planning on changing the way I blog. Starting this week I will start writing more frequently than I used. The blog has to evolve and thats just what my mind has to adapt to. I cant simply hold out for a week anymore yet I could add great content and improve the profile of my “baby blog”. So guys expect more posts, am thinking of 3 posts a week but will see about that!

Okay, time to share. Well, last week I spent a few hours on research. I have learnt quite a few things from James of IM Relations and we are often talking on Skype. He knows his stuff and you guys might also want to learn from him. I have actually got James to add 900 bookmark to one of my sites and if all goes according to plan I could have him working on other sites that am developing with my new partner. Oh…I almost forgot to tell you that I have formed a partnership with someone on the other side of the world – USA to be precise. The time difference sucks but we have to work around it. Anyhow, we have set up tasks and the like for each party to accomplish on a weekly basis and all that is coupled with regular emails. At the end of every week, Friday USA & Saturday New Zealand time we shall then have a meeting over skype to analyse and plan strategies and many other things for the upcoming week. This partnership is very exciting for both of us and I think am going to be more productive than before…..will keep you all posted on how this all works out.

As for sales, nah…am going through a “dry spell” like Justin likes to call it. IM is funny. One moment you are up there making hundreds within hours and the next minute you are not earning anything for three consecutive days! Its urrghhh….

Yesterday, I got a nice script that helped me get close to a hundred links with just a click! Awesome piece of sript. I would recomend this to anyone who has a relatively new site. Its basically a two step process and away you go – 100 links! Now most of you must be wondering where did you get that? Well, I have lots of internet buddies now and they share quite abit of info with me so I guess you understand what relationships mean in this business! As for the JetPack, I got my writer to start writing articles for one site. She will rewrite all twenty by the end of this week and I expect to rank pretty quickly since the keyword research has been very intense! Plus its two brains at work this time round. I love the whole partnership stuff and can’t wait to see the results. Most of our work is outsourced. Well, I could go on and on about this but I guess I have to stop and get back to work!

Three weeks of silence…well, am not yet dead! Am actually seeing progress and it looks like my recent endevours have started to pay off. Unfortunately though, my writer is way too busy with her own projects and has decided to reduce on how much work she can do for me. Am abit gutted but also happy for her. Atleast, she still gets to write for me a few articles. Am now loking out for new writers via freelancer. I wont waste time time with elance. Someone also suggested I try craigslist philipines but am not keen. I have another option that am keeping to myself. I know a place where you can hire pretty cheap labor but alot of training is needed. Even then, am considering this and will post those details once am succesful at it.

On another note though, I have stopped using SEnuke. My earnings donot allow me spend that much. This has forced me to review my entire business and how I operate it. A few months a ago I put together a very sketchy business plan that I haven’t really followed through.  Now I realise I need to have a solid one and last week I contacted a local firm to help me get started with the whole registration of my business. I want to make it formal. Its not a hobby anymore. Am spending hundreds of $’s so I out to treat it like a real business. I bought myself ScrapeBox and for $57 it was a steal – this small “BEAST’ is God sent!

My tools have changed and I will now only use these:

• AMA
• Free Traffic System
• ScrapeBox
• IMRelations Bookmarking Service
• Article Productions
• All Article Directories (Still not sure where to buy an article submitter – please advise)

P.S Don’t get me wrong though, SEnuke is a fantastic product if you have $127 / mo to part with.

Am very keen to see what ScrapeBox will do for my money sites but judging from the reviews there could be a whole bunch of #1 slots to steal i the SERP’s.

Am pretty confident that by Setember I will hit “a sale everyday” if I follow my revised SEO strategy.

Ohh…I almost forgot to tell you all that I got myself a copy of the AffiloJetPacks – and yes I bought the entire package of 11 websites – that should keep me away from trouble…lolz…Nah..seriously I looked at various sites people offered me but they were lacking that “wow” effect plus the sales from some were not worth considering sales. Most were Adsense sites that were making between $0 to $50 a month and for me thats only one ClickBank sale! Sorry guys but thanks for the offers.

Anyhow, back to the AfiloJetPacks. I obviously cant see myself building all 11 sites before December but am positive that atleast 8 will be up and running by Christmass. If I get a good writer soon, then maybe the sites could start ranking on page one pretty quickly. The JetPack training is intense and there is a different approach to things. I won’t dwell into it as I will be revealing more than I should. But seriously guys the JetPack was the easiest option for anyone to either get started or take their business to the next level. If you missed out I would recomend AffilobluePrint. That’s what got me started and helped me earn up until now.

Internet MasterMind / Social Groups

This week I was also able to start calling and chating with other bloggers / marketers. It was great because I learnt so many things and shared my personal experiences with them. I was able to speak to James Pruitt of IMRelations, Anuraag, and another newbie who I will call Stefan for now. Anyway guys, why not talk to others directly? We could hold conference calls and the like. I know we might be new at this but this socialising could help all of us. We are competing for the same slots in the SERP’s but that doesn;t mean we can’t share strategies amongst ourselves! Week 24

I was way too busy to write a report on both Week 24 and 25 but as you can see I made a mere $36.17 and it got thinking. Why did this happen even though my rankings were way up in the SERP’s. After this incidence I decided to branch out of my confort zone – SEO . Am now researching media buys and honestly for between $20 to $50 its worth a try. I have a new local site to try my first media buy. Price is a mere $25 (NZ $).  Will post results next week.

Its been a long week both online and at my day job – nothing that I can’t manage but it’s really hectic over here. Anyhow, last week I set up another site and its now been left to find its way slowly up in the search engines.

I have also received positive responses from people looking to sell their websites and am yet to decide how to proceed. I really want to diversify into multiple niches but don’t see myself being able to build all the sites myself so thats why am looking at buying already established sites.

Otherthan that, I spent lots of hours doing PPV reaserch and also got accepted into another network. Am not interested in joining other networks at the moment. Two is more than enough. Both have an enormous number of offers to choose from. I actually wonder why other people join say 15 networks…geez…what the heck? Can you really cope with all of them? I think as a newbie I will stick with two, then scale out later when I have mastered the PPV / CPA art. I have got a campaign all set up and ready to go and all am waiting for is approval from Media traffic. CPA is way different from ClickBank where no one is monitored. In CPA, you apply to networks and people actuaally call you to very your application. You also get tax forms and the like, nothing complex but they are thorough with the checks – I even scanned my drivers license and sent one network a copy! Hows that for affiliate marketing?mhmm…?

Week 23 has been great because I managed to pull a sale on a fairly consistent basis. One site seems to be doing well at the moment. Don’t really know why but am trying to dig into my google analytics for answers which don’t seem to exist!

My writer is keeping me busy. 20 articles within a space of two weeks. One set for Ezine and another set spun 3 times for AMA and SEnuke. I guess you can see how easy it is to build links!I am dedicating this month to one site and next month I intend to get articles written for other sites as well. It will be a combination of artciles all spread across different niches. AMA is an interesting place to send artciles. I really think Ezine is a bloody waste of time except for the fact that an article can hit #1 in google within hours! I say this because very few publishers pick articles from Ezine whereas for AMA its way different. I have my articles on there and within a few hours they are snapped up by various sites. I don’t know what others think but thats my opinion.

Ahh…for those of you who are regular visitors to this IM blog the new theme might have been surprising…lolz…I didn’t have to warn you, did I? ..lolz…but seriously, I need feedback from you. What do you genuinely think of the new theme?

I guess I will let the snapshot reveal my earnings for week 23….here you go…

Hi guys and welcome to my IM blog again. This week I present Week 22 sales report…wow…its been a journey! Its amazing how time can fly by. Ofcourse so many exciting things are happening with CB and CPA, so I never realise that am 20 weeks into this.

After reading Kensters Rags to Riches guide 5 times am now starting to take action. There is way too much but the guide is well written. The ideas can actually reap big CB earnings if you do things the right way. Adsense is also a possibility for those whose sites are well optimized. Anyhow, back to my implementation plan. I have now applied to various networks and being a weekend I don’t really expect to hear from any until Monday or Tuesday next week but that will be Tuesday/Wednesday New Zealand time.Don’t forget New Zealand is hours ahead of any country in the world! Applications have also been made to various PPV networks and those should be straight forward. This CPA venture isn’t cheap – I have invested both time and money. Good enough my adwords account is pretty decent with a good balance thanks to google’s voucher that I received recently! Done some murking around with PPC on some “test landing page” and I liked what I saw. The PPC lessons from Affiloblueprint have been very handy recently. Boy Mark’s course is pretty good! My CPA adventure is only waiting for the greenlight from the CPA networks and I will be good to go. Given my experience with CB am sure CPA will be easy peaky for me to succeed.

On the otherhand, my writer is doing a very good job. On Friday I received a set of 10 artciles ready for ezine and spun thrice for AMA. I spent a good chunk of the weekend trying to submit these articles manually to both Ezine and AMA – its a very boring task. Am half way through the lot and just decided to stop for now…lol…yah…am lazy! So I realise its wiser to submit 2 articles everyday. That is much easier. I could use SEnuke but my intention is to submit to Ezine and AMA firsst then use SEnuke to complete the whole process, bookmarking, pinging, rss and the like. I intend to outsource this submission task once I figure out a process/system that produces quick results within the SERPS.

Otherwise my rankings are pretty solid and every otherday I find new keyworks that I wouldn’t even imagine I ranked for. You won’t see any screenshots because am protecting my domains. The CB earnings are improving and this month I expect to earn more than I did last month.

Ohh…by the way, if you are a newbie and would like to get into internet marketing the easy way try out Mark Ling’s AffiloJetPack. I won’t go indepth to outline what you will get. Tip of the Week

If you use google analytics, pay attention to the keywords section to see what keywords are bringing traffic to your site. You will realise that you are one page #1 for words that you haven’t done any SEO for! If you find these, just write a few articles and bum – you wil get to #1 with ease! Who doesn’t want to be #1 in google?

This week I received my fifth Click Bank Check. It’s a small sum but again shows that making money online is very possible if you actually “take action”.

I show my checks as proof that am actually making money. Am toying with the idea of direct deposits but I kinda prefer the paper checks as they seem more real. Guess am still old fashioned or something like that..lol

Anyhow, here it is!

Glad am finally writing this. Well, most of you are wondering why am not producing reports on a weekly basis. I simply donot have enough time at the moment but this will change once am through with my current WSO implementation plan.

Am a big fan of the warrior forum and its eating too much of my “time”….lol not really. My typical working style is set so that I can browse forums like the Warrior forum while SEnuke is Nuking away – how lovely! I set up SEnuke and leave it to do its thing while I research and plan my online bussiness. It’s helped me alot and I have been able to grab some interest in CPA. Many of you fear CPA and PPC.

Well, I also thought they are hard but I guess with a little research I have discovered that I could double or even tripple my earnings with these two methods. Its amzaing what you can find on the warrior forum – tonnes and tonnes of info that “gurus” sell for hundreds of dollars. If you are a newbie I highly suggest you visit the forum and become an active member. Ask as many questions as you like but avoid WSO’s like a plug for the first month. Only try the free stuff that is given away all over the forum. Obviously this free stuff means you give away your email but thats not a biggy if you understand how to play the game.

Anyhow, this week starts a whole new journey for me. I have decided to have my writter on a full time basis. This writter will produce a set of 10 spun articles every week and these should really propel certain keywords that have proved to be notoriously difficult even for my SEnuke “beast” to break into page 1 of google! I guess, its a patience thing but like others I want immediate results..lolz

Over the past week I also discovered another source of income and this one could be the easiest money I have ever made online. I will not disclose this method as yet but its pretty easy and sweet, plus its legit all the way!

Guys the Warrior forum has been an eye opener for me. I will never buy guru stuff anymore because I can find it for a super cheap price or even free depending on how deep I search through the threads – that site is a GOLDMINE! If you’ve been at this IM stuff you’ll understand that “guru” stuff is expensive and overly hyped.

There is alot I have learnt and can’t really write everything in one post but be sure to pick most of what I know from the warrior forum. If you are very curious simply flick me an email and I might “squeeze” some time for you.

I guess its show time again..lol..made a few cents again!
